The exact appearance of a bottle of wind may vary. A typical specimen appears as an opaque decorative bottle with a cork.

This common item has been created numerous times by different wizards. There are likely dozens of them in existence.

If uncorked, this bottle will unleash a steady and powerful stream of air. This has been used in a variety of ways. It can be put into water and used to propel a small boat, it can blow away fog, mist or gases and it can be used as an air supply for a swimmer underwater. It can be used to fan the flames of a fire or help heat a forge. A single bottle of wind will blow for up to 100 hours. After that, it will have expended its supply of wind and will become non-magical.
A wind bottle that has not been entirely depleted can be fully recharged by hurling it into an air elemental. If an uncorked bottle of wind makes physical contact with an air elemental, it will absorb the elemental, killing it instantly.
If the bottle is thrown as a missile weapon, it will shatter upon impact unleashing all of its magic in one sudden, immense blast of wind. This sudden shockwave of wind would be enough to knock dozens of enemies flat in a 50 foot radius.
